‘Walker’ restores pride in storied program

The Fordson Tractors road to the state championship began with Livonia Franklin. Fordson held off a late charge by the visiting Patriots to move on to the second round, 31-20.

Fordson beats Highland Park 26-16 to finish the regular season undefeated (9-0) for the first time since 1989. There couldn’t have been a prouder player than Ali Baidoun, whose father Mohammad “Catfish” Baidoun, quarterbacked the 1989 team to perfection.
