A Mosque Transformed, pt. 4

Resident artist Harout Bastajian and several volunteers bring the Islamic Center of America’s prayer hall alive by finishing their decorative painting. The mosque now features Arabic calligraphy high and low.
Bastajian and some volunteers began working on the prayer hall in mid-February, and finished March 31, 2008 But the most startling thing about the project isn’t the fresh coat of paint on the dome and walls. It’s Harout’s generosity.

What a beautiful transformation.. Harout is such a generous person and worked so hard (with the rest of the volunteers, of course) to make our mosque beautiful!

Great job done! This is the reflection of what true volunteers could accomplish. Many thanks to Harout and the rest of the volunteers who made this beautiful transformation to our Masjid.
